4th of July Weekend Miami In Depth

Thursday at B.E.D.
929 Washington Ave.
South Beach, FL
Descripton: Let's start off our 4th of July weekend in the sack! We all get lucky our first night! An acronym for Beverage, Entertainment, Dining, it's actually an excuse to dine, Roman emperor style, on a luxurious bed. These are huge mattresses tucked into the walls of individually raised platform rooms and are each covered with six to eight soft, puffed pillows to sit on and lie on. White chiffon drapes cover entrances to each section and can be drawn shut to provide the ultimate in privacy. Waiting staff dress in elegant long white shirts and billowing white pants and bring tasty dishes from fish to steaks to your chambers. Cocktails of every classy and colourful variety will help get you in the mood. Sure it's pricey but where else can you go out and sip a martini in the sack. Duvet NYC doesn't compare to this space!

Sunday at Hed Kandi
1200 Washington Ave.
South Beach, FL
Description: Let's end our weekend right at Miami's Hed Kandi. Inspired by the UK-based Hed Kandi empire (which includes a record label, radio show and nightclub franchise), this spot is like that DJ-heavy club you spent a few crazy, boozy nights in while you were "studying" in London. (Only with a dash of molecular gastronomy, a bit tanner skin...and probably much better teeth.) Let's leave Miami with a bang!
